Keeping in touch with Judaism while balancing major life changes can be difficult, but Temple Beth Am is here to help!
Our College Connection program is designed to keep you passionate and curious about Judaism as you transition into adulthood.
Throughout the year, we will compile and send three care packages stuffed with Jewish goodies, gifts, helpful resources and our congregational newsletter, the Commentator, to support your Jewish life on campus and post-graduation. College Programs
Check out some of the incredible program opportunities available to college students:
Hillel on Campus
Hillel offer college students social, educational, cultural and religious programs on over 550 campuses. Hillel encourages students of all backgrounds to form deep, personal connections to Jewish life, learning and Israel, through Jewish exploration, leadership, and a sense of belonging.
Taglit-Birthright Israel
Thanks to this popular program, young Jews between the ages of 18 and 26 are given the gift of a free first-time educational trip to Israel with their peers.
JELF (Jewish Educational Loan Fund)
JELF provides interest-free loans to Jewish students for higher education.
MASA
MASA enables young Jews between the ages of 18 to 30 to spend a semester or a year in Israel. Greater Miami Jewish Federation support helps make MASA-affiliated Israel experiences possible for hundreds of young Miamians. Upon their return, they become active members of our community.
