Welcome to Our Community!
If you are new to Florida, new to Pinecrest or the south Miami-Dade County area, or otherwise looking for a synagogue, we thank you for this opportunity to tell you about Temple Beth Am. It can be challenging getting to know a new community and learning what it has to offer.
Temple Beth Am is one of the largest congregations in South Florida. We are a Reform synagogue that honors our traditions and embraces a full spectrum of Jewish life and living. Beth Am is a “full service” congregation with a myriad of programs and activities for all ages, ranging from social to athletic to spiritual.
We have four full-time Clergy to meet all of your needs. We believe there is something for everyone. As part of our welcome to you, one of our Clergy would be available to come to your home and bless a mezuzah.
Our volunteers and lay leaders are the foundation of our congregation and participation in our programs and activities are encouraged by all. You can best gain a sense of the vitality, warmth and caring of our congregation by visiting us, meeting our members and worshiping with us at a Shabbat service.
Temple Beth Am has so much to offer you and your family. What a great way to meet new people, find old friends, and get involved and enhance your life. We also offer membership incentives for various groups, including the following: a plan for first-year families that are enrolling in our Early Childhood Program, a “Super Senior Incentive” for those 80+ years of age, complimentary full membership to young adults 21-29 years of age, and we welcome Interfaith families, supported by our active Outreach Committee.
For information about Beth Am Membership, contact Rita Diaz, Membership Director, (786) 364-9434, or email [email protected].
