Temple Beth Am Honors Four Exceptional Women of Valor

Temple Beth Am celebrated four extraordinary women at its 2025 Women of Valor ceremony on Wednesday, April 2 at Temple Beth Am. This prestigious recognition honored Nathalie Carletta, Rabbi Rachel Greengrass, Susan Lampen, and Daniela Allegra Zanzuri-Beiner for their outstanding contributions to the temple and broader Jewish community.

Daniela Allegra Zanzuri-Beiner brings 25 years of dynamic leadership to Miami’s Jewish community. As Past President of Temple Beth Am, she spearheaded the $60 million Beyond The Curve capital campaign. Born to an English mother and Libyan father and raised in Puerto Rico, Daniela speaks five languages and is passionate about Jewish identity and Israel advocacy. Her professional background includes television production and 18 years as “Chief Optical Illusionist” with the Edward Beiner Group.

Miami native Nathalie Carletta has deep roots at Temple Beth Am, where she celebrated her Bat Mitzvah and confirmation. Her dedicated service includes serving twice as PTA President, nine years on the School Board in various leadership positions, and managing the school store for a decade. Nathalie and her husband Doug are parents to three children, including two Beth Am graduates.

Rabbi Rachel Greengrass has served Beth Am since 2008 while holding significant leadership roles in the broader Jewish community. A recipient of the T’ruah Rabbinic Human Rights Hero Award, she co-created the award-winning Social Justice Teen Fellowship. Rabbi Greengrass has authored chapters in several books on Jewish justice, ritual, law, and spirituality, and represents the Jewish community in national media.

Susan Lampen has served on Temple Beth Am’s Executive Board since the 1990s, focusing on programming, community outreach, and fundraising. She is the immediate past president of the temple’s Sisterhood. Beyond Beth Am, Susan co-founded Casa Valentina in 2005 to help youth transition from foster care to independent living and brings 40 years of experience as a counselor in healthcare settings.
