Sunday Salon
Jewish Voters and The 2024 Election
Analysis Brought to us by Marsha B. Cohen, PHD
As the results of the 2024 U.S. election are analyzed, Dr. Marsha B. Cohen looks at the implications of the presidential, congressional and some contentious state elections for Jewish Americans. Is there still such a thing as the “Jewish vote”? What issues seem to have mattered most to Jewish voters of both political parties? What do the election results reveal about anti-Semitism in the U.S.? What role might Jews play in the incoming administration? Will U.S. policies toward Israel change?
In addition to our monthly Sunday Salons, we ask you to come join us on a Tuesday or Thursday for an engaging get-together. We will continue to host groups, as we did over the summer, to watch a movie one week, then come together a week later to talk about it. These gatherings will be held in the Adult Reading Room, administered by Library Programs along with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Miami, so be sure to add your names to our mailing lists. Adult Reading Room Library events are coordinated by Etta Gold MLS RJE, Congregational Librarian.
