Online Event: The Art of Jewish Cooking with Chany
Learn to make hamantaschen, delicious triangular shaped pastries made with a variety of different fillings and usually baked during the Jewish festival of Purim. We will mix, roll, shape and bake these tasty treats from beginning to end! Space is limited for this online event. Registration is required. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants within 24 hours of the event start time. Ages 19 yrs.+

Ingredients Needed:
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
2.5 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling (your choice): strawberry jam, raspberry jam, apricot jam, poppy spread, chocolate chips, or peanut butter

(Optional) 3-inch circle cookie cutter (can substitute with a glass cup with 2.5″ – 3″ diameter)
