High Holy Days Food Drive
TBAM’S Annual High Holy Day Food Drive
For The JCS Kosher Food Bank
October 3-13
During the High Holy Days, when we focus on tefila (prayer), teshuva (repentance), and tzedakah (giving) we invite you to do a mitzvah by participating in our annual food drive to benefit South Florida’s Jewish Community Services’ Kosher Food Bank. Please give any non-perishable items. We suggest donating as much food as you and/or your family would have eaten on Yom Kippur.
TO PARTICIPATE IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3!
- Grab a brown grocery bag as you exit Rosh HaShanah services.
- Fill that bag (or any other shopping bag) with non-perishable food items.
- Bring your filled bag to the collection in the lobby of the TBAM Sanctuary between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.
KOSHER AND NON-KOSHER ITEMS ARE ACCEPTED. THESE ITEMS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED
