There have been more than 10,000 antisemitic incidents in the U.S. since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack in Israel. In Miami-Dade, antisemitic incidents rose 32% between 2022 and 2023, including multiple bomb threats in our community. Antisemitism is on the rise and our work is vital as our Jewish Community faces hate online and in-person. Before October 7, ADL had already tracked record levels of antisemitism in Florida and around the country. Whether on college campuses or in K-12 schools, in public spaces, in entertainment and sports, and in our places of work and worship – we all have a part to play.
