Materials of
Education, Entertainment, and Enrichment
The mission of the Temple Beth Am Congregational Library is to provide materials of education, entertainment and enrichment for congregation and community. We shall coordinate programs to supplement and enhance the variety of educational, social and spiritual activities and events offered at Temple Beth Am. The Congregational Library is committed to excellence and service that brings about a positive experience for each library user.
The Temple Beth Am Congregational Library houses Judaica materials.
Our extraordinary adult collection consists of Judaica fiction and non-fiction, including biography, history, art, Bible commentaries and philosophy, cookbooks, music and literature; while our children’s collection consists of both Judaica and General on every subject imaginable. Additionally, we have a selection of books-on-tape and CD, videos and DVDs, a multi-media center with full Internet access, as well as connections to subscription services available through the public library.
Other resources such as Hasafran, the online discussion group of the Association of Jewish Libraries and Torat Hayim, the Torah Study online for Reform Jews, are readily on hand.
